We confirm the size and style you want and check the framing around the opening.
The old door is dismantled and the new insulated sections, track and spring system are installed.
We adjust the balance and bottom seal and walk you through the finished door before we go.
Bungalows and split-levels fill Beacon Hill, rather than rows of brand-new houses. Single garages remain typical, and the openings were framed for lighter doors than the insulated ones used now. A jamb can loosen or a track can drift over the years, so the rough opening is inspected before a door is ordered. On an attached garage, that heavier insulated door also takes the winter chill off rooms sharing the wall.
