How the installation goes
A technician checks the opening, headroom and jambs before anything is ordered.
The old door is taken down and hauled away, then new tracks, rollers and springs go in with the new sections.
We finish by balancing the door, adjusting the seals and running it through several full cycles.
Older houses near the river and newer subdivisions on the outskirts give Carleton Place two kinds of garage: a compact single on an older lot, a double on a newer one. The Ottawa Valley cold is the same for both, and a door that is only a sheet of steel does little for an attached garage. The opening is measured, including the room above the header, before any sections are ordered.
