How the installation goes
A technician checks the opening, headroom and jambs before anything is ordered.
The old door is taken down and hauled away, then new tracks, rollers and springs go in with the new sections.
We finish by balancing the door, adjusting the seals and running it through several full cycles.
Most houses in Findlay Creek, garages included, went up in recent decades rather than a half-century ago. An attached double is the layout people expect, and living space is often planned beside or above the opening. That makes the door a large piece of the wall that faces the weather. An insulated section keeps the span from acting as a cold panel, and the new tracks follow the header the house was built with.
