How the installation goes
We measure the opening and help you pick a door size, style and insulation level.
On install day the old door, tracks and springs come out and the new door is assembled section by section.
Before we leave, the springs are tensioned, the door is balanced and the opener and safety sensors are tested.
Houses in Stittsville mostly sit on suburban lots, with the garage built onto the front of the home. A long winter makes a thin, uninsulated door a poor match for rooms beside that opening. Newer parts of Stittsville lean toward double-width bays, while earlier blocks still have narrower singles. The work follows the opening that is actually there, including whatever headroom sits above the door.
