Every new opener is $650–$950 installed depending on model, with a written price before we start. Wall-mount (jackshaft) units are available for high or cluttered ceilings, and battery backup keeps the door working during power outages.
Installation, step by step
- Remove and dispose of the old opener.
- Mount the new unit and rail to solid ceiling framing, or the wall for a jackshaft.
- Install and align safety sensors and the wall control.
- Set travel limits and closing force for your door.
- Program remotes, keypad and the myQ app.
- Test auto-reverse and the manual release with you.
Installation usually takes 1 to 2 hours and carries our 3-year parts and labour warranty. Seniors and veterans get 5% off.
